Your account

Mapped makes an account for you when you first open it. You’re responsible for what happens under it and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, for keeping that account secure.

Your content

The places, notes and other content you add stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run Mapped, for example to sync them between your devices and to show your places to friends you’ve accepted.

Using Mapped fairly

Don’t pick a username that impersonates someone, is offensive or infringes someone else’s rights. We may change or remove usernames that do.

Don’t use Mapped to harass people, to send unwanted friend requests in bulk, or to disrupt, overload or get unauthorized access to the service.

The service

Mapped is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or remove features.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of Mapped. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

The App Store

If you got Mapped from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies. These terms are between you and Samim Saidi, not Apple, and Apple isn’t responsible for Mapped or its content.

Ending use

You can stop using Mapped at any time and delete your account from the Profile tab. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Mapped means you accept the new terms.
