Delete your account

You can delete your Mapped account at any time in the app. It takes a few seconds and you can't undo it.

In the app

Open Mapped and go to the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Mapped signs you out and starts with an empty map.

What gets deleted

We remove your account, your friendships and every place you've synced from our servers straight away. That includes countries, cities and airports, with their dates, transport and notes. Friends no longer see you on their leaderboard.

Only want to start over? Clear all visited data on the Profile tab removes your places but keeps your account, username and friends.

If you signed in with Apple

To also stop using Sign in with Apple for Mapped, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, Sign in with Apple, Mapped, and Stop Using.

Can't open the app?

Reinstall Mapped on a device signed in to the same Apple Account. Your account comes back from iCloud Keychain, and you can delete it from the Profile tab.
